Dr Hana Subhi is Professor of French Language and Literature at Sorbonne University - Abu Dhabi. She holds a Doctorate in French literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
She participated in many scientific conferences and published many papers in language and literature.
She supervised several MA theses in French literature and translation.
As a visiting professor at the University of Lyon 2, she was invited to give lectures on Iraqi feminist literature.
Her name was mentioned in the "Encyclopedia of the Twentieth Century" among the Iraqi figures active in the cultural scene.
Member of the jury of the Asma Siddiq Award for the First Novel.
She translated several books on literature, philosophy and sociology.
Winner of Ibn Khaldun-Sencourt Prize in 2014 for her translation of the French philosopher Edgar Morin's book “Method: The Humanity of Humankind”.
Ms. Nour Talal Nasra is a Syrian writer and translator. She resides in the United Arab Emirates and holds a Golden Visa. She was born in Damascus in 1987. She graduated from the Faculty of Translation, Tishreen University, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of English.
She has previously published many articles and texts in Arab newspapers and magazines (Sharjah Cultural - Rawafed Magazine - Emirates Cultural - Jordanian Ideas Magazine).
She participated in the press coverage of the Sharjah exhibition throughout the exhibition period.
She presented a poetry evening at the House of Poetry in Sharjah on 22 November 2023.
She recognized by Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity for her short story collection "Faces of Past Life" in 2024.
